Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage core financial records, perform accurate bookkeeping tasks, and support administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations. Your expertise in accounting software and financial concepts will help maintain the integrity of our financial data while providing essential administrative support to various departments. Duties

Maintain accurate financial records using a QuickBooks, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
Prepare and process journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll transactions with precision.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Reconcile credit card activity, ensuring supporting documents are provided.
Generate detailed financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for management review.
Support administrative functions such as data entry (including 10 key typing), document management, and correspondence handling.

Requirements

Proven experience with accounting QuickBooks.
Strong understanding of accounting principles including double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and financial concepts.
Knowledge of corporate accounting practices as well as non-profit and governmental accounting standards.
Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.
Familiarity with GAAP compliance and technical accounting procedures.
Ability to perform detailed account analysis and general ledger accounting tasks efficiently.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; proficiency in 10 key typing is preferred.
Strong communication skills for financial report writing and collaborative teamwork.
