Quality Carpet & Restoration is a locally owned flooring installation and floor care company serving Abilene and the surrounding areas. We work on residential, commercial, and government job sites, and we take pride in doing quality work that lasts.
Experience is helpful, but it is not required.
We are looking for people with a good attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to do hands-on manual labor. If you are dependable, willing to learn, and take pride in doing a job the right way, we can train you.
Right now, there are a lot of big temporary jobs pulling people in around Abilene. But when those projects move on, we will still be here. We are local. We are established. We are not looking for someone to be a cog in a machine or just another number. We are looking for people we can train, teach, and grow with.

Position Overview
As a Flooring Installation Technician, you will help install flooring materials such as carpet, LVT, laminate, and other floor coverings. You will learn how to remove old flooring, prepare job sites, measure and cut materials, use tools safely, and complete finished flooring work that looks professional.
This is a hands-on job. You will be lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, working with tools, and helping keep job sites clean and organized. We need someone who can show up on time, work hard, listen, learn, and work well with a team.
Primary Duties
- Assist with installing carpet, LVT, laminate, and other flooring materials
- Remove existing flooring and prepare subfloors
- Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials
- Learn proper installation methods and job site procedures
- Use hand tools and power tools safely
- Help install underlayment, moisture barriers, trim, and finishing pieces
- Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized
- Load, unload, carry, and move materials as needed
- Work respectfully in homes, businesses, and government facilities
- Follow instructions from lead installers and supervisors

Pay & Advancement
Pay is discussed during the in-person interview and is based on experience, work ethic, and ability. Starting pay increases with prior flooring installation experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
