Senior Construction Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role demands a proactive leader who can coordinate multiple teams, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver projects on time and within scope. Duties

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Manage and direct construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to foster collaboration and productivity.
Develop detailed project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 or similar project management software to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
Oversee construction estimating processes, ensuring accurate cost projections and budget management using HeavyBid or comparable tools.
Monitor construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are strictly followed and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times.
Review blueprints, schematics, Civil 3D models, and contracts to verify project scope and technical accuracy.
Coordinate construction schedule updates, progress reports, and project documentation using Construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high standards of quality control.
Manage project costs effectively by tracking expenditures against budgets and implementing cost-saving measures where applicable.
Facilitate communication among stakeholders through clear project coordination efforts to keep all parties informed and aligned.

Skills

Extensive experience with heavy civil or infrastructure construction projects with proven leadership in managing complex teams.
Proficiency in construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid.
Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques and cost management strategies.
Deep knowledge of construction regulatory compliance standards and safety protocols.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for project execution.
Excellent project management skills with a focus on time management, prioritization, and problem-solving under pressure.
Effective communication skills for managing contracts, negotiations, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
