Full Job Description

This position will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting reporting and compliance activities. This role works closely with leadership to ensure financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate, timely financial records
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
Track fixed assets and depreciation for rental equipment
Support revenue recognition
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Prepare sales tax filings and support other regulatory compliance requirements
Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and vendors as needed
Improve accounting processes and internal controls to support a growing operation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–5 years of accounting experience (equipment rental, construction, or asset-heavy industries preferred)
Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with rental billing, fixed asset accounting, or job costing
CPA or CPA candidate a plus

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
