Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sr. Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Minimum of 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility. Experience maintaining window manufacturing equipment or similar automated production machinery is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, mechanical components, and logic controllers.
Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and functionality.
Fabricate parts or components using welding techniques when necessary.
Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
Lead specific projects, providing guidance and support to ensure quality workmanship.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Requirements

Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
Proficiency in electrical work, including the ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
Experience with logic controllers is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Controls and Electro Mechanical Experience is preffered.
A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
