Job Title: Administrative Assistant Administration
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

The Administrative Assistant assists the CEO/Administrator in day-to-day functions of the rapid paced Administration environment. Tasks include but are not limited to written and oral communication with Board Members, patients and the general public, organization and maintenance of District documents; calendar maintenance including scheduling of meetings and events; and other duties as assigned. The Administrative Assistant must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and strategic organizational skills. The Administrative Assistant must easily adapt to change, have a team player attitude, and desire to continuously learn. This position also requires the ability to maintain extreme confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the CEO with daily operations and administrative tasks.
Assist the CEO/Administrator with scheduling.
Assists the Nursing Administration as required.
Retrieves mail daily and completes the sending of emails, faxes, mail, and overnight deliveries as required.
Participates in webinars and in-person and virtual meetings for education and compliance requirements as necessary.
Answers Administration phone promptly and courteously, screens and routes incoming calls, and documents messages to the CEO/Administrator.
Maintains organization of files and data of Administration.

Education:

High School graduate or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional office or similar environment preferred.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in office software and medical management systems.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Adaptability and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
