Full Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Director of Business Development & Marketing to lead our sales and marketing strategy, drive revenue growth, and expand our presence throughout New England and beyond. This is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing initiatives that attract new clients, strengthen our brand, and support the company's long-term strategic objectives.

Since 1987, Bryley Systems has delivered Managed IT, Cloud, and Cybersecurity solutions that help organizations leverage technology securely and effectively. As a nationally recognized Managed Services Provider (MSP), we are committed to exceptional client service, innovation, and operational excellence. The Director of Business Development & Marketing will play a critical role in shaping the next chapter of our growth.

This position pays a base salary plus commission.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and acquire new clients.
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, events, prospecting, and marketing campaigns.
Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, business partners, and community organizations.
Present technology solutions and consult with business leaders to understand their needs.
Oversee sales processes, proposal development, contract administration, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast future opportunities.

Marketing & Brand Leadership

Develop and implement marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and lead generation.
Oversee digital marketing, website content, social media, email campaigns, and promotional activities.
Coordinate attendance and participation in networking events, trade shows, and community activities.
Enhance the company's reputation through strategic communication and thought leadership initiatives.
Measure marketing effectiveness and adjust strategies based on performance metrics.

Leadership & Collaboration

Lead and mentor business development and marketing team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with executive leadership and technical teams to ensure client expectations, service commitments, and business objectives are achieved.
Participate in strategic planning and contribute to organizational growth initiatives.
Monitor budgets and revenue performance while identifying opportunities for growth and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of sales and marketing experience.
Previous experience in the Managed Services Provider (MSP) industry required.
Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience.
Proven track record of developing business opportunities and achieving revenue growth.
Strong strategic thinking, business planning, and organizational leadership skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
Experience with CRM, proposal management, and marketing platforms. Knowledge of ConnectWise, QuoteWerks, Kaseya, WordPress, or similar systems is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed for client and business development activities.
