Summary:

Family Practice Center, P.C. is a comprehensive, high-volume family practice medical group looking for schedulers / call center representatives to join our growing and successful team. We pride ourselves on providing a wide variety of healthcare services for our patients including top-level care and in-house-diagnostic testing. We are proud to have become one of the highest-rated primary care practices with multiple locations in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Our number one priority is providing quality patient care, and as a team member you will support your colleagues, providers, and patients by offering the highest level of customer service.

The ideal candidate for our representative must have excellent customer service and communication skills and bring a strong patient-centered approach. Responsibilities:

Assist patients over the phone
Follow all HIPAA and Family Practice Center standards when conducting calls
Schedule appointments with the providers according to practice and provider standards
Enter patient demographics, insurance information, and appointment specific details into our EMR system
Accurately document patient encounters
Route phone calls and messages to the appropriate department
Effectively communicate all FPC’s appointment and billing policies
Vet and field patient concerns/complaints or feedback to the Front office manager or Practice Administrator
Most importantly maintain a professional and positive attitude with coworkers and patient

Qualifications:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills
High School Diploma or GED Required
Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
Knowledge of EMR and/or EPIC system preferred
