Title Clerk – Family-Owned Used RV Dealership

Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Overview

We are a family-owned and operated used RV dealership that is growing and thriving, and we are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Title Clerk to join our team. Our current title clerk, Linda, is retiring after 6 wonderful years, and she will personally assist in training the new hire to ensure a smooth transition.

You’ll be working directly with the owners and their family in a professional, respectful environment—no corporate layers, no red tape, and no “corporate dealership” vibes.

Responsibilities

Process RV titles, registrations, and tag paperwork accurately and efficiently
Prepare, review, and track title documents for incoming and outgoing inventory
Ensure lien releases, payoffs, and ownership transfers are completed properly
Maintain organized physical and electronic title files
Communicate professionally with customers, lenders, and tag offices
Follow up on missing documentation and resolve title issues
Visit the Bartow County tag office once per week to drop off and pick up title paperwork

Qualifications/Experience

Prior experience as a title clerk, dealership title specialist, or DMV/title office role preferred
Experience with vehicle or RV title and registration paperwork strongly preferred
Familiarity with Georgia title and tag procedures is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential customer and financial information responsibly
Basic computer and office software proficiency
Reliable transportation for weekly tag office visits
Friendly, professional communication skills

Success in This Role (Very Important)

This position requires someone who can remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in a fast-moving title environment.

Title work will occasionally involve errors, delays, or missing information — this is normal in dealership and DMV-related processes
The ideal candidate stays level-headed and composed, even when issues are frustrating or time-sensitive
The ability to troubleshoot problems, follow up persistently, and see issues through to resolution is essential
Patience, professionalism, and exceptional attention to detail are critical to long-term success in this role
Candidates who become easily overwhelmed or frustrated by paperwork issues may find this role challenging

Flexible schedule
Minimum of 24 hours per week required
