Chemical Operator:

Manpower is seeking a Chemical Operator to join a dynamic manufacturing Company in Aurora, IL . At this time, we are hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift. This is an excellent career opportunity for qualified individuals, especially those with chemical batch or specialized technical manufacturing experience.

What You’ll Do:

Hand-on role, responsible for mixing, blending and filling product batch with a strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork.
Produce, package and prepare Entegris products for shipment
Weighs, measures & verifies raw materials to make sure batches are made with the proper ingredients in precise quantities.
Receive raw material and containers.
Perform required data entry, recordkeeping, and make material transactions in the ERP system.
Perform required quality testing and inspections.
Maintain safe and clean working environment.
Immediately address any deviation to PACE values, procedures, policies, etc.
Engage in continuous improvement (6S) teams and LEAN manufacturing activities.
Contribute to plant safety initiatives.
Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse related tasks (for example, cycle count, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory, incident investigation).
Available to work overtime, Saturdays/weekends, as required.

What We Seek:

Mechanical, industrial or Chemistry-related experience.
Ability to perform data entry tasks, communicate through email, knowledge of Excel, ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.
Team-focused attitude, eagerness to learn new things, attention to detail and dedication to come to work on time/have reliable attendance is the type of individual who thrives in our environment.
HS Diploma/GED Required.

Experience – One to three years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrates attention to detail ability and team building skills.

Requires manual lifting of up to 45 lbs., ability to wear respirator intermittently, as needed.

Chemical Batch or Specialized technical Manufacturing experience
Relative industry
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task

· Shift Schedules:

· 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

· 3rd Shift: Monday - Friday 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM (Monday’s shift starts at 10:00 PM Sunday night.)

Overtime may be required, based on business needs, and weekend shifts will vary when needed.

We care about cleanliness, and the use of PPE. PPE includes - steel toe shoes (provided by us), safety glasses. Additional PPE required for certain job functions, such as full-face mask.
