Overview
We are seeking a passionate, organized, and creative Marketing Coordinator to lead local marketing efforts and support our growing brand in the U.S. market. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment and is excited to execute campaigns, drive brand awareness, and build strong community engagement across our DFW locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing & Local Insights
· Identify Brand & Growth Opportunities: Continuously analyze the DFW/USA market to identify brand opportunities. Must analyze market, customer behavior, competitors, trends (both local and nationwide) and identify growth opportunities, suggest sales initiatives, create marketing strategies that increase store traffic and revenue at each location.
· Target Audience Connection: Analyze local customer behavior and identify how to better connect with the target audience. Both in stores and digital channels.
· Customer Acquisition & Retention: Contribute to and create strategies that:
- Attract new customers to bring them to each store.
- Create strategies to increase frequency of visits by current customers.
· Location-Specific Execution: Enforce and support sales initiatives by carrying out specific actions to sell more at each location. Plan sales strategies and identify specific opportunities for each location.
· Strategy Fulfillment: Guarantee the marketing strategy in place across all locations.
2. Campaign Coordination & In-Store Experience
Marketing Campaign Execution
Plan, coordinate, and execute all seasonal and promotional marketing campaigns throughout the year, ensuring consistent execution across every location.
Local Campaign Insights:
· Collaborate with the corporate marketing team during campaign development and approval.
· Provide local insights and feedback on seasonal campaigns. Spot local opportunities and design campaigns to ensure local relevance.
· Provide insight regarding seasonal products, promotions, and customer preferences to ensure campaigns are relevant.
Promotional Material Coordination:
· Review key visuals, copy, and messaging before final versions and before printing.
· Oversee the printing, pickup, and setup of POP materials, promotional displays, and seasonal menus for all seasonal campaigns.
o Obtain competitive quotes from multiple vendors for all printed marketing materials to ensure the best combination of quality, turnaround time, and pricing.
o Coordinate production/printing of all approved marketing materials.
o Pick up, organize, and install all printed POP materials in every store. Make sure all POP materials are consistent with current season and are in place from day 1 for each campaign.
o Maintain promotional materials throughout the duration of each campaign. Be vigilant that all POP material is well placed throughout the campaign.
o During periods without active campaigns, ensure stores continue displaying appropriate trademark marketing materials and promotional signage.
In-Store Standards & Display Maintenance:
· Ensure proper placement, correct use, and maintenance of displays and materials throughout the entire year.
· Maintain brand standard in each location, including verification of correct price tags, display placement, cleanliness, and overall store decorations.
o Correct price tags must be in place year round
o Correct product execution means that the bakery rack and product displays have price tags, are clean and always have products to sell (coordinator is responsible for helping stores ensure they order the right amounts of seasonal products according to forecast).
· Ensure that the retail area planogram is properly implemented in each store.
Product Availability:
· Support in the forecast unit sales for all seasonal products
· Set daily sales goals. Sales tactics alongside store managers.
· Ensure seasonal product availability in stores throughout campaign lifecycles.
Staff Training & Motivation:
· Train General Managers and store teams before every campaign launch.
· Ensure all team members understand:
- Featured products
- New product launches
- Products being discontinued
- Promotional pricing
- Key selling points
- Campaign objectives
- New POS item buttons
· Provide concise sales scripts and talking points to improve guest engagement and seasonal product sales.
· Keep staff motivated during campaigns to meet sales goals.
Seasonal Sales Performance:
· Track daily sales performance for every seasonal product by location.
· Prepare and distribute performance reports to each General Manager showing sales trends and comparisons.
· Partner with store leadership to identify opportunities to improve seasonal product sales and campaign execution.
· Foster a commercial, performance-driven culture by creating visibility into each store's results and encouraging continuous improvement in seasonal product sales.
· Marketing Coordinator is responsible for sales performance, must work with store general managers on how to sell more and reach goals. If seasonal products are selling this means marketing coordinator is doing a good job.
Campaign Follow-up:
Follow up on current promotions, seasonal products, activities, and events across all locations.
Localized Activations & Store Events:
o Create, plan, coordinate, and execute store-specific promotional initiatives, localized activities, and sales initiatives.
o Examples of execution: Setup of tasting tables, bakery activations, product arrangements, trade catalog activations, and samplings.
Community Outreach: Maintain active outreach to the local community and market to build relationships with nearby businesses and organizations.
· Maintain brand standards throughout every location, including signage, pricing, cleanliness, promotional displays, and merchandising.
· Decorate each store according to established seasonal merchandising guidelines.
· Fully execute and maintain the Seasonal Nest Table, ensuring seasonal products and retail merchandise are attractively displayed, fully stocked, and updated throughout each campaign.
· Ensure all seasonal products are available and properly merchandised during campaign periods.
3. Store Enablement & Sales Forecasting
· Sales Scripts & Training: Draft short sales scripts and train store managers and team members on the campaign details before each official launch.
· Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor and report on product performance, customer transactions, foot traffic, and overall growth by location.
4. Public Relations, Influencers & Events
· Media & PR Outreach: Build relationships with relevant local newspapers and magazines in the area; organize press events and prepare press releases that tell the San Martin story.
· Paid Media & Influencers: Coordinate paid media strategies and influencer collaborations.
· Seasonal Product Showcases: Plan and execute product showcases for media and influencers during key seasonal peaks (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Independence Month, Christmas).
· Event Evaluation & Participation: Evaluate, recommend, plan, and execute participation in local events and on-site promotional activations to increase brand visibility (e.g., Katy Trail 5K, Taste of Trolley, Grand Tasting Symphony, etc.).
5. Competitive Benchmarking & Scouting
· Competitive Intelligence: Conduct competition and client scouting by visiting competitors to gather pricing, menu, and promotional insights.
· Trend Identification: Identify industry trends, menu shifts, and growth opportunities within the local area.
