Job Summary:
We’re looking for a detail-driven, digitally minded team player who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. As a Data Entry Representative at SKDLA, you’ll play a key role in supporting our digital workflow by accurately entering and updating cases within our lab software while providing excellent customer service over the phone and assisting the shipping team as needed. This role blends precision, service, and collaboration—requiring someone who is tech-savvy, highly organized, and committed to data integrity and confidentiality. Your accuracy and consistency will help keep our systems current, our teams aligned, and our doctors supported with the reliable information needed to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Essential Duties:
- Enter case data into the production system in a timely manner
- Update case information accurately, as needed
- Answer all incoming calls by the third ring
- Transfer calls to the appropriate department/person as needed
- Provide excellent customer service over the phone, answer questions concerning cases, scheduling, status, case rescheduling, pricing, product options, etc.
- Create invoices in the production system for clients needing lab slips, shipping labels, and boxes
- Scan all case paperwork and maintain the filing system
- Combine photos, shade cards, and other parts/paperwork that belong to cases as needed
- Put cases on hold and remove from hold as needed
- Enter new accounts
- Schedule custom shade/custom finish appointments for patients
- Maintain the appointment calendar and inform personnel of their schedules
- Manage all case holds and updates
- Assist shipping department with unboxing, invoicing and packaging cases as needed
- Assist all other departments as needed
Required Knowledge and Abilities

- Solid written and verbal communication in a professional, customer-facing environment
- Ability to plan and stay organized across short-, mid-, and longer-term tasks
- Skilled at prioritizing responsibilities to keep work moving smoothly

- Collaborative and approachable, with strong interpersonal communication
- Proven ability to maintain accuracy and quality in a fast-paced production setting
- Reliable time management and a sense of urgency when handling daily tasks

The pay range is $18-22/hour. Final compensation will be individually assessed and may differ based on a variety of factors such as your experience, qualifications, education, skill set, certifications, and other relevant considerations.
