Hours: 40 hrs/wk

Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician with 2+ years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Aiken, SC.

Details

Works in a multidisciplinary cath lab supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing and interventional procedures
Performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization and radiology imaging equipment
Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Variable on-call required for nights and weekends
40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
13-week contract

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience in a U.S. hospital required
RCIS or ARRT certification required
BLS and ACLS (AHA only) required
Active license required — no pending licensures will be accepted (license required if applicable)
Degree in a related field (BA, BS, BSN, or AA) or equivalent experience required
CPI certification required for this position
Strong ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
U.S. Social Security Number required for consideration
Date of birth required for consideration
Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility

Additional Information

Provides scrub and monitoring support for invasive cardiac and vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
Applies prescribed protocols for the operation of radiology imaging equipment
Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
Copies of all certifications (AHA only) must be included for consideration
