Full Job Description

Job Title: Purchasing Data Analyst
Position Type: Temporary / Contract - 6 Months
Location: On-Site Aurora, OH
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $22.00 – 25.00 / hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Data Analyst for a temporary, on-site role. In this position, you will support our procurement team by managing purchase orders, maintaining vendor records, and verifying stock data within our ERP environment. The ideal candidate brings strong data entry accuracy, intermediate Excel skills, and previous exposure to automated supply chain or financial tracking systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Data Management: Input, update, and maintain purchase orders, pricing tracking sheets, and vendor master data inside our ERP platform.
- System Tracking: Use Microsoft Dynamics Business Central to monitor shipment dates, log receipts, and reconcile order discrepancies.
- Excel Reporting: Create regular data summaries, run pivot tables, and use lookup functions to audit local stock counts and spend metrics.
- Document Control: Handle and organize physical paperwork on-site, including bills of lading, receiving logs, and paper invoices.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate face-to-face with local warehouse, inventory, and procurement teams to resolve data delays or stock issues.

Qualifications and Requirements

- ERP Experience: 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or a highly comparable ERP platform (such as NetSuite or SAP).
- Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, specifically utilizing VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.
- Work Experience: 1 to 2 years of office experience in procurement data entry, supply chain support, or inventory data roles.
- Workstyle: High attention to detail with proven accuracy handling heavy volume data entry under tight timelines.
- On-Site Availability: Ability to maintain a full-time physical presence at our local facility during the designated 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM shift.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
