Hospice Account Executive
Reports To: Corporate Director of Business Development
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Weekends as needed
Build Relationships. Strengthen Your Community. Make a Difference.
At Remembrance Hospice, we believe hospice is more than healthcare—it is about people, relationships, dignity, and making every day matter.
We are a family-owned hospice, and that philosophy extends to how we treat our team. We want our employees to feel valued, supported, and trusted. We recognize that you have a life outside of work, and we believe that taking care of our employees and supporting a healthy work-life balance allows them to provide their best to the patients, families, referral partners, and communities we serve.
We are looking for an outgoing, compassionate, and driven Hospice Account Executive who wants a career with purpose. This is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships throughout the healthcare community while helping patients and families gain access to compassionate hospice and palliative care when they need it most. Join our growing team in Stark and Wayne Counties!
What You'll Do
As a Hospice Account Executive, you'll help grow Remembrance Hospice by developing trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, facilities, organizations, and community partners. You'll educate referral sources about hospice and palliative care, identify opportunities to better serve the community, and help more patients and families understand and access the support available to them.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective referral sources.
- Educate physicians, healthcare professionals, facilities, organizations, and community partners about Remembrance Hospice and the services we provide.
- Expand awareness and appropriate utilization of hospice and palliative care services throughout the healthcare community.
- Build and protect the community's perception of Remembrance Hospice as a compassionate, responsive, high-quality provider.
- Identify opportunities for new or improved services based on the needs of patients, families, referral partners, and the community.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of your market, including key referral sources, healthcare organizations, government agencies, payer groups, community resources, and competitors.
- Maintain knowledge of hospice marketing strategies, industry developments, and community resources and share relevant information with the Remembrance Hospice team.
- Help connect individuals and organizations with appropriate community resources when their needs fall outside the services provided by Remembrance Hospice.
- Execute marketing and promotional initiatives designed to achieve organizational growth goals.
- Monitor marketing activities, resources, and expenses within established budgetary guidelines.
- Assist with evaluating and reporting the effectiveness of marketing and business development efforts.
- Conduct all marketing activities professionally, ethically, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including requirements involving anti-kickback laws, patient solicitation, gifts and services, and accurate marketing materials.
- Serve as a positive representative of Remembrance Hospice throughout the community.
