Compliance Manager

Humanity Plus Homes

About Humanity Plus Homes

Humanity Plus Homes is a rapidly growing provider of residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to provide safe, high-quality, person-centered care while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance.

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and dependable Compliance Manager to join our leadership team. This position combines office administration with field work and is ideal for someone who enjoys training staff, maintaining compliance, solving problems, and ensuring our homes remain inspection-ready at all times.

Position Summary

The Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing agency compliance with all regulatory, personnel, and residential requirements. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our agency remains compliant with state regulations, maintains organized personnel records, provides employee training, and conducts ongoing quality assurance inspections of company homes.

This position requires frequent travel between company locations and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain complete and compliant employee personnel files.
Audit employee records to ensure ongoing compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
Conduct routine compliance audits and quality assurance reviews.
Perform multiple home inspections each week to ensure homes meet company and regulatory standards.
Generate detailed home inspection reports and follow up on corrective actions.
Purchase household supplies and deliver them to company homes as needed.
Monitor inventory needs and ensure homes remain adequately stocked.
Teach CPR/First Aid certification classes.
Teach company-approved behavior support and restraint intervention training.
Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and ongoing staff development trainings.
Maintain employee training records and certifications.
Scan, upload, organize, and file company documentation electronically and physically.
Maintain organized, inspection-ready compliance files.
Assist with regulatory surveys, audits, and investigations.
Track employee certifications, licenses, background checks, and required training deadlines.
Attend weekly leadership and administrative meetings.
Assist management with policy implementation and quality improvement initiatives.
Communicate professionally with staff, supervisors, and regulatory agencies.
Complete special projects assigned by executive leadership.
Travel regularly between office locations and residential homes.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous compliance, quality assurance, healthcare administration, or management experience preferred.
Experience working with developmental disabilities, healthcare, residential services, or human services strongly preferred.
CPR Instructor certification preferred (or willingness to become certified).
Experience teaching adult learners is a plus.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and electronic document management.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Professional appearance and demeanor.

Requirements

Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must have a reliable personal vehicle for daily travel between company locations.
Must maintain an acceptable driving record.
Must successfully pass all required background checks.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds when transporting supplies.
Must be able to occasionally bend, kneel, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods while conducting home inspections.
Must be available to travel throughout the service area as needed.
