Outpatient Therapist

As a nonprofit community mental health center, our mission is to provide effective, affordable, and compassionate care that supports lasting recovery and wellness.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Outpatient Therapist to join our clinical team in Akron, Ohio. If you are passionate about helping individuals achieve meaningful recovery while working in a supportive and collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply.

Position Responsibilities

Provide individual counseling services to adults experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including psychotherapy and crisis intervention techniques.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and agency standards.
Participate in community outreach and education initiatives that promote mental health awareness and recovery.
Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
Active Ohio licensure as one of the following: LISW/LSW, LPCC, IMFT
