Full Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Social Services to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, program development, and management, with a focus on working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and oversee social service programs tailored to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities
- Manage program budgets effectively and ensure financial resources are allocated appropriately
- Supervise and support a team of social workers and support staff
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funding sources
- Implement strategies for program growth and improvement
- Provide administrative oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Experience:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Proven experience in program development and management within the social services sector
- Strong administrative skills including budgeting, reporting, and resource allocation
- Experience managing teams and providing supervision to staff members
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices and interventions
