Full Job Description

Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a security company, ensuring that all client sites are properly staffed, security personnel are scheduled effectively, and company standards are consistently maintained. This position manages the hiring and onboarding of security officers, develops and maintains employee schedules, and responds to staffing shortages to ensure uninterrupted site coverage.

Key Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard qualified security officers.
Create and manage employee schedules based on client requirements and staffing needs.
Monitor attendance, call-offs, and staffing levels to maintain adequate site coverage.
Step in and work on-site when staffing levels are low or emergency coverage is required.
Conduct site visits to ensure officers are performing their duties properly and company/client policies are being followed.
Communicate with clients regarding staffing, performance, scheduling, and operational concerns.
Train, coach, and supervise security personnel to maintain high performance and professionalism.
Handle employee performance issues, schedule changes, and operational challenges.
Ensure security posts remain fully staffed and operational at all times.
Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions when necessary.
Maintain accurate staffing records, schedules, and personnel documentation.
Support management with operational planning and strategies to improve employee retention and client satisfaction.

Position Summary

The Operations Manager serves as a key link between company leadership, security officers, and clients. The role requires strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work flexible hours and personally provide security coverage when necessary to ensure client needs are consistently met.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
