Full Job Description

Job Overview
Our first-class dental team is seeking to hire a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Associate. We are an extraordinary team that thrives on providing the highest quality care to our patients while enjoying what we do. Our dental team has been together for many years, and we have been providing family dentistry in the Firestone Park community for more than 20 years. We have been voted BEST DENTIST in Akron by the Better Business Bureau of Akron and by People's Choice. Our family-owned practice prides itself on making every visit as welcoming and comfortable as possible. We cater to phobic patients to help them transition to stress-free experiences. Our goal is to make dentistry an experience all patients can look forward to.

Duties

As our dental receptionist, you are the first point of contact and smiling face our patients encounter when patients call or walk through the door. You will help greet patients warmly, help them feel at ease and welcome and set the tone for a positive stress-free experience.
Behind the scenes, you will successfully manage scheduling appointments efficiently, coordinate patient flow, and handle appointment rescheduling as needed to ensure the office runs smoothly.
This opportunity requires at least 2 years of front desk DENTAL experience Specifically, we are looking for a qualified dental insurance verification analyst. This position requires profound knowledge of correctly verifying insurance coverage for patients, determining covered procedures, properly explaining coverage amounts and their frequencies, and properly updating patient records. Our team works proficiently with dental software systems (Softdent and Dexis).
It is customary to collect payments at the time of service, process collections, and handle billing tasks with accuracy utilizing dental billing codes and utilizing coding knowledge.
Maintaining accurate dental records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations (by reviewing documentation and safeguarding patient information); while answering multi-line phone systems professionally, and providing excellent patient service, and addressing inquiries promptly are all part of the multitasking compulsory duties of the position.
