Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team! In this dynamic role, you will lead daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and support the management team in delivering a memorable dining experience. Duties

Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, shift management, and ensuring smooth service flow.
Lead and supervise front-of-house and kitchen teams to deliver high-quality food preparation, presentation, and customer service.
Manage food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
Control inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste.
Conduct staff training sessions on food preparation techniques, customer service excellence, and safety standards.
Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members to foster a positive work environment.
Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction strategies.
Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Assist in catering events, banquet services, or special functions to expand restaurant offerings.

Skills

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
Extensive background in restaurant management including shift supervision, team leadership, and hospitality management.
Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and cash handling.
Strong understanding of food safety management practices and food handling regulations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster teamwork.
Experience managing inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within a food service setting.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Knowledge of culinary practices gained through fine dining or casual dining experience is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership in managing hospitality teams with a focus on training & development initiatives.
Familiarity with catering services, banquet operations, or bar experience adds value to your application.
