Full Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Technology Support Specialist (Mid-Level) at VuePoint Diagnostics is a customer service focused technology professional responsible for delivering high-quality, responsive technical support to internal employees across corporate, contact center, and field operations. This role places a strong emphasis on customer service, rapid response, clear communication, and ownership of issues from intake through resolution. As a healthcare organization operating in a regulated environment, VuePoint relies on secure, reliable technology to support in-home screening services, radiology operations, and corporate functions. The Technology Support Specialist serves as a trusted frontline liaison to the business, ensuring employees can effectively and securely use VuePoint’s technology platforms while feeling supported and informed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service & Employee Experience

· Serve as the primary point of contact for VuePoint employees seeking technology assistance, delivering timely, professional, and empathetic support.

· Provide a high-touch service experience by actively listening, setting clear expectations, encouraging use of self-support tools, and maintaining frequent communication throughout issue resolution.

· Translate technical concepts into clear, non-technical language for field staff, clinical partners, and corporate users.

· Follow up with employees after resolution to confirm satisfaction and reinforce a positive technology experience.

End-User Support & Incident Management

· Serve as primary liaison to outsourced 24X7 Level I/II managed service desk team during business hours

· Provide support for hardware, software, security, and application issues across VuePoint’s corporate and remote workforce.

· Troubleshoot laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, operating systems, and connectivity issues.

· Support VuePoint’s Microsoft 365 environment including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and collaboration workflows.

· Support VuePoint Windows and mobile business applications used by internal teams.

· Manage, prioritize, and resolve support tickets in accordance with service level expectations, escalating when appropriate while maintaining ownership.

Device, Account & Access Management

· Provision, configure, deploy, and decommission laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals following VuePoint standards.

· Support endpoint and mobile device management using Microsoft Intune.

· Perform employee onboarding and offboarding tasks, including account creation, access changes, and equipment coordination.

· Support identity and access management tasks such as password resets, MFA troubleshooting, and role-based access changes, following least privilege principles.

· Basic hardware repairs, and Windows operating systems installation.

Security, Compliance & Risk Awareness

· Adhere to VuePoint security policies, acceptable use standards, and data protection requirements.

· Assist with identifying and reporting potential security incidents, including phishing attempts, suspicious activity, or lost devices.

· Support healthcare compliance requirements (e.g., Security and HIPAA awareness) and VuePoint’s security and audit initiatives.

· Ensure accurate documentation and audit readiness for all support activities.

· Participate in regular access reviews and systems inventory reporting.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

· Document incidents, service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in VuePoint’s ticketing system.

· Create and maintain internal knowledge base articles, end-user guides, and FAQs tailored to VuePoint tools and workflows.

· Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to processes, tooling, or employee training in conjunction with Operational Excellence team.

· Coordinate technology asset tracking and lifecycle management.

· Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

· 1-3 years of experience in IT support, service desk, or technology support roles.

· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to VuePoint offices, field operations, or other sites as required for job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.

· Demonstrated commitment to customer service and employee experience.

· Strong working knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments.

· Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications.

· Solid understanding of basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Experience supporting a healthcare or regulated industry environment, preferred.

· Experience with Microsoft Intune, endpoint security, or device management platforms, preferred.

· Familiarity with mobile device management, iPhones and Apple Business, preferred.

· Experience working within an IT ticketing / ITSM environment, preferred.
