Tax Accountant
Location: Tuscaloosa, AL (Onsite)
Our client is looking to hire a Senior Tax Accountant to play a key role in supporting the overall tax function, partnering close with the Tax Director to maintain compliance, reporting and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Help prepare and review the quarterly and annual tax provision, partnering closely with the accounting team.
- Support tax compliance across federal, state and local and international jurisdictions, including working with outside advisors.
- Contribute ideas and insights around tax planning to help the company operate as efficiently as possible from a tax perspective.
- Work closely with the accounting and finance teams on tax-related items that impact reporting, forecasts and overall financials.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field]

2+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or a corporate environment.,
- CPA or CPA eligible preferred

Experience with ASC 740 and corporate tax compliance
