Assistant Office Manager – Dental Practice (Full-Time)
Alamogordo

We are seeking a dependable, experienced Assistant Office Manager to help lead our busy dental office. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a structured, high-expectation environment and is passionate about patient care, team development, and operational excellence.

Schedule & Benefits

Full-time position (approx. 212 working days/year)
Typical schedule: Monday–Thursday
Occasional half-day Fridays

The Assistant Office Manager plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and patient-focused operation. You will help lead both front and back office teams while maintaining a positive, safe, and organized environment for staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of front and back office
Hire, train, and develop support staff
Ensure patient-centered, timely treatment flow
Manage provider schedules and patient appointments
Verify insurance and Medicaid eligibility prior to treatment
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Monitor office budget and assist with bill payments
Lead team meetings and staff trainings
Serve as point of contact for:
Facility repairs
Supplies and equipment
Mail and deliveries
Generate reports for corporate leadership
Collaborate with VP and Director of Operations

What We’re Looking For

Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
High attention to detail and accountability
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming office

Qualifications

Minimum 1 years (24 months) experience in dental or medical office management preferred
Computer
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

24 months of dental or other medical office management experience preferred, knowledge of Curve Dental , bilingual English//Spanish a plus.
