Description

We are hiring for Ultrasound Technologist position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Day shifts, 40 hours per week.

$10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Performs all the essential functions of the Registered Sonographer. Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient's condition to determine appropriate testing protocol. Provides a technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis.

Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation.

Preferred Qualifications:

9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Breast, Vascular including clinical rotation.
