Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Band Saw Operator to join our warehouse team. This role involves operating a band saw to cut raw materials to exact specifications within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts. A strong understanding of OSHA standards and mechanical knowledge is essential to maintain safety and operational excellence.

Duties

Operate saws and other cutting equipment to process materials accurately and efficiently
Understand basic blueprint drawings and cut lists
Read a tape measure accurately
Label parts accurately
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Ability to perform basic math for measurements and inventory counts
Excellent attention to safety procedures and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Utilize forklifts for loading, unloading, and moving materials
Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and load & unload machines
Valid certification or experience in operating forklift, Hi-Lo, or similar heavy equipment is a must
Perform routine equipment inspections to ensure safe operation
Support warehouse management in order fulfillment and materials handling operations
