Full Job Description

Radiological Technologist

We are seeking a qualified Radiological Technologist for immediate placement in our Ambulatory Surgical Center located in Albany, GA. The ideal candidate will [enter years of desired experience] experience in general diagnostic, and special procedures, cardiac catheterization; experience in IR and Cath Lab is a plus.

The Radiological Technologist will assist the clinical team with vascular access procedures, maintaining a sterile field and providing support during pre and post procedures . This is a challenging, fast-pace job with Monday to Friday schedule, NO nights and weekend shifts. Access Center hours Monday ? Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. Employment at Lifeline Vascular Care is contingent on successful completion of pre-employment screening and background check.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist clinical team with patient and procedure room preparation and post-procedure clean-up, operating the C-Arm, scrub-in for procedures, clean and sterilize tools and equipment
Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies
Maintain radiology safety-monitoring procedures and may serve as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for the center or Safety Officer
Assist in scheduling patients for vascular access procedures and provide assistance in transporting patients within the center
Participate in community education activities regarding access center
