- Manage day-to-day community engagement: respond to comments and messages, and monitor brand mentions in a timely, on-voice manner.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director on messaging for concert promotion, single-ticket and subscription campaigns, student recruitment, donor appeals, and special announcements.
- Track and report key performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, link clicks) and recommend adjustments to strategy based on results.
- Maintain brand consistency in tone, voice, and visual identity across all channels.
- Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers, as well as with volunteers or program participants, as needed for content production.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform changes, and best practices for arts and nonprofit organizations.
- Support paid social advertising campaigns, including basic ad setup, targeting, and budget tracking, in coordination with the Executive Director.
- Coordinate and oversee periodic platform “take-overs” by guest artists, chorus members, patrons, student program participants, or other stakeholders.

- Basic photo and video editing skills; comfort shooting content on a smartphone in live settings.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently against a content calendar and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong collaborative attitude.
- Ability to attend occasional evening or weekend rehearsals and concerts in the greater Capital Region of NY (Albany, Troy, Schenectady, Saratoga Springs, etc.)
