Full Job Description

Accounting Associate (Part Time)

$26.00–$29.00 per hour

L. Browe Asphalt Services is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Associate to join our accounting team.

This position is three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and is approximately 8 hours per day. We can offer flexibility with the daily start and end times to accommodate the right candidate.

We're seeking an experienced office professional who enjoys organized, process-driven work and takes pride in accuracy. This position supports our companies by helping keep our accounting department organized, efficient, and running smoothly.

Primary Responsibilities

This position supports a variety of accounting and administrative functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice preparation, customer statements, bank deposits, material ticket verification, document organization, data entry, and maintaining accurate accounting records. You'll also assist with accounting projects and provide administrative support to our accounting team as our business continues to grow.

Success in this position comes from staying organized, following established procedures, and producing accurate work with a high level of consistency.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting support is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with Sage 50 accounting software is a plus.

Part-time
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
Approximately 8 hours per day
Flexible daily schedule

Compensation

$26.00–$29.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
