About Us

Real Capital Group Property Management LLC (RCGPM) is a fast-growing property management and real estate company serving the Capital District and Buffalo. We’ve built a full-service real estate ecosystem — brokerage, maintenance, and property management — and we’re looking for a Chief of Staff who can help our leadership team keep pace with that growth.

About the Role

This is a true right-hand-to-the-CEO position, not a traditional administrative role. Think force multiplier, not assistant. You’ll operate above the day-to-day operations layer, acting as a quality-control check across the business, a sounding board for high-level problems, and direct support on sales. You’ll work closely with our President of Operations, Finance Manager, and Leasing Manager, but your job is to catch what others miss, raise standards, and be the person everyone can count on when it matters most.

What You’ll Do

Serve as a quality-control layer across operations — reviewing work, communications, and processes for accuracy and standards before issues reach ownership or the CEO Act as an extension of the CEO — an information filter and facilitator between the CEO and the rest of the team, triaging what actually needs his direct attention. Serve as an “air traffic controller” to the team, ensuring everyone is getting the same communication and following the policies, procedures, and models provided Partner directly with the CEO on high-level, escalated, or sensitive problems (owner disputes, difficult tenants, negotiations) Support sales efforts — assisting with calls, follow-ups, and closing processes Follow up with department leads when goals or standards aren’t being met, and drive resolution Identify gaps or inconsistencies across departments and drive them to resolution Act as a trusted advisor and second set of eyes on decisions that matter. Handle confidential and sensitive information with strong judgment

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in a senior operations, chief-of-staff, or right-hand-to-the-owner capacity A true force multiplier mindset — someone who makes everyone and everything around them better, not just someone who executes tasks

Sharp eye for detail and a genuine quality-control mindset

Strong communicator, both written and verbal

Comfortable in sales conversations and high-stakes discussions

Strong judgment under pressure and the ability to solve problems independently

High level of discretion and professionalism

A builder and lover of frameworks — someone who enjoys creating and refining systems, not just following them

Must obtain a New York State real estate license within 90 days of hire (paid for by RCGPM)

Must be aligned with our core values and have a servant’s heart

Prior experience in real estate, property management, or a similarly fast-paced small business is a plus
