Full Job Description

Location: Albany, NY (centralized operation supporting all markets)
Compensation: Starting at $85,000 to $105,000 per year, based on experience
Reports to: VP of Operations, Mitigation

ABOUT THE ROLE

SERVPRO Team Skov is a multi-market restoration company delivering emergency mitigation, contents restoration, and full reconstruction across the Northeast and mid-Atlantic. We are building a centralized contents division based in Albany, NY that will serve all of our markets, and we are looking for the person to build it.

This is not a packout supervisor role. This is a division leadership role for someone who has built or run a contents operation and wants to own one end to end. You will stand up the infrastructure, processes, software, storage, and team, then scale the division as a profit center across the organization. If you have run contents inside a company that treated it as an afterthought and you know how much value gets left on the table, this is the seat to fix that.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Build and lead a centralized contents division in Albany serving all company markets
Own the contents P&L, including revenue, labor margin, and overall profitability
Stand up and manage the warehouse and climate-controlled storage operation
Implement contents inventory and documentation software, and set the standards for chain of custody and reporting
Develop and enforce SOPs for packout, on-site and off-site cleaning, deodorization, textiles, electronics, documents, storage, and packback
Hire, train, and lead contents crews and coordinators
Manage logistics, routing, and scheduling across multiple markets
Coordinate with project managers, insurance adjusters, and carriers throughout each job
Drive salvage-versus-replace assessments and maximize the contents captured on every qualifying loss
Implement quality control and ensure work meets or exceeds IICRC standards

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Direct experience building or running a contents restoration division or operation
5 or more years in contents restoration, with progressive leadership responsibility
Strong knowledge of packout, cleaning, and restoration methods across material types (furniture, textiles, electronics, documents, artwork)
Experience managing a warehouse and inventory and storage operation
P&L, budget, or margin ownership experience
Proficiency with contents inventory and restoration software
Working knowledge of the insurance claims process and adjuster coordination
Proven ability to hire, train, and lead a team
IICRC certification preferred (FSRT, WRT, OCT, or similar)
Xactimate familiarity a plus
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Willingness to travel across markets as the division scales

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
Comfortable working in field and warehouse environments in a range of conditions
Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and operate a vehicle for extended periods

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Starting salary is $75,000 to $95,000 per year based on experience, plus benefits. This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity with a company on an aggressive growth trajectory. Compensation will be reevaluated based on growth and profitability of the division.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
