Full Job Description

Attorney is seeking a Legal Assistant with the capacity to grow to handle some basic and possibly advanced paralegal matters.

Position Overview:

The legal assistant will be required to answer incoming calls in a professional manner and perform a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties, to include but not limited to: monitoring e-mail traffic, maintaining and updating calendars (both physical and Outlook), as well as basic recordkeeping and organization. He/she will format letters, draft legal pleadings, and e-file documents on a variety of platforms.

This position will involve working at a desk, on computer keyboard, and sitting for long periods of time. It may also require lifting 5-15 pounds periodically.

What We're Looking For:

Attorney would prefer previous secretarial experience. The successful applicant must be proficient in Microsoft 365 products, Adobe Acrobat, basic technical support/trouble shooting, and be able to type 50 wpm accurately.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn are expected.

Pay based on experience.
