Full Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence and making a meaningful difference in your community? We’re seeking a dedicated, compassionate Victim Advocate to join our team and provide critical, trauma-informed services to individuals and families in need.

Monday - Friday

Sign on bonus may apply to those eliigible

Key Responsibilities

Provide victim-centered, trauma-informed case management to survivors and their families
Assist clients in locating and securing safe, stable housing
Offer emotional support, crisis intervention, and safety planning
Respond to domestic violence and PREA hotline calls, providing support and referrals
Support clients with life skills development
Connect clients to community resources and supportive services
Foster a workplace culture rooted in inclusion, respect, and belonging

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence or similar populations
Valid, clean New York State driver’s license and reliable transportation
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
