Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role involves managing the front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients, and facilitating smooth communication within the office. The ideal candidate will possess strong office management skills and be proficient in handling various administrative tasks while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Answer phone calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel
Schedule appointments at check out and take payments
Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date
Handle billing and insurance verification processes
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a front desk scheduling coordinator, or in an administrative role at a dental office is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
Familiarity with Dentrix software is helpful, but not required
Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients and staff
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with office equipment and basic computer skills
