Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. Your expertise will support our financial health by handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, reconciling accounts, and preparing essential financial reports. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing organization that values precision, transparency, and efficiency. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review, audit, and allocate expenses to jobs and the appropriate account in the chart of accounts.
Operate Accounts Payable: Ensure all vendor and subcontractor bills are entered into accounting software, accurately, timely, expensed to the correct job and account, and prepared for release of payment.
Process manual check payments as required.
Make general ledger journal entries as required.
Audit timesheets and process payroll on a weekly basis.
Calculate and pay gross receipt taxes monthly.
Execute work-in-progress Adjustments monthly.
Audit, match, and add bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Assist CPA with Month-End Bookkeeping, Reconciliation, and Depreciation.
Audit and balance accounting between job management software, and QuickBooks.
Maintain accurate files and records.
Performs additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Associate’s Degree (Accounting or Finance) from an accredited college/university or Applicable Accounting/Bookkeeping experience.
Experience working in Accounting. Previous exposure to public accounting or corporate finance is a plus.
Strong Understanding of GAAP Accounting practices
Experience working with Quick Books online.
Able to pass Drug Test, MVR Check, and Background Check.
Must maintain working hours consistent with the job requirements. During high volume business activity, job requirements may extend well beyond normal office hours.
