Full Job Description

At Juliette Eye Institute, we believe every patient interaction matters. We are seeking a bilingual Director of First Impressions who is passionate about creating exceptional experiences and making every patient feel welcomed, valued, and cared for from the moment they contact our practice.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, anticipating patient needs, solving problems with compassion, and delivering white-glove customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. We are looking for a team member who is flexible and excited to support our patients at both our Albuquerque and Santa Fe locations as business needs require.

What You'll Do

As the first and last person our patients interact with, you will set the tone for the entire patient experience.

Patient Experience & Hospitality

Welcome every patient with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.
Create a positive, memorable experience from check-in through check-out.
Anticipate patient needs and proactively address concerns before they become issues.
Ensure patients feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their visit.
Demonstrate empathy and patience when assisting patients with questions, concerns, or special circumstances.

Scheduling & Communication

Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, confirmations, and cancellations with accuracy and efficiency.
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally while providing exceptional customer service.
Guide patients through appointment preparation, insurance questions, and practice policies.
Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical teams to ensure seamless care.

Administrative Excellence

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to update and retrieve patient information.
Assist patients with questions regarding billing, insurance, medical records, and general office information.
Support office operations while maintaining a calm, organized, and welcoming environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual (Spanish & English)
Previous experience in healthcare, medical reception, patient services, hospitality, luxury retail, concierge services, or customer experience roles.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong emotional intelligence and ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate during busy or stressful situations.
Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with EHR systems and medical office procedures is preferred.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements.

Schedule:

Full-Time: Monday-Friday

7:45 AM - 4:45 PM
Alternate shift: 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM
