About the Practice

Celebrate Dental & Braces has been serving the Albuquerque and Bernalillo communities for over 13 years. We are a high-volume orthodontic practice known for making treatment accessible to families through low monthly payments and same-day start options. Our team travels between two locations — Rio Bravo in Albuquerque and Bernalillo — operating as one unified team across both sites.

We are looking for a Practice Manager who genuinely wants to run the day-to-day operation with confidence and independence. If you are looking for a role where you are told what to do rather than a role where you decide what needs to be done — this is not the right fit. What You Will Own

People and HR

Hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and training for clinical and administrative staff
Day-to-day staff supervision and accountability across both locations
Performance management, including corrective conversations, written documentation, and terminations when necessary
Leave requests, call-out coverage coordination, and policy enforcement
Maintaining a positive, professional, high-accountability team culture

Operations

Daily operational oversight at both clinical locations
The same team travels between both locations — you manage one unified team across two sites
Patient flow, schedule management, and clinical workflow coordination
Front desk performance, phone protocol adherence, and patient experience standards
Vendor relationships, supply ordering, facilities coordination, and expense oversight
Compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
Dental records management and clinical documentation oversight using Open Dental

New Patient Pipeline

Direct supervision of the Treatment Coordinator
Weekly review of new patient consultation pipeline and pending follow-up status
Accountability for new patient conversion rates and same-day start performance
Oversight of patient communication systems including our CRM platform
During periods of high consultation volume or TC staffing transitions, provide overflow treatment coordination support including patient consultations, financial presentations, and same-day start closes

Financial Oversight

Collections follow-up and accounts receivable monitoring
Daily production and collections reporting
Insurance coordination and billing workflow oversight using Open Dental
Expense management and budget adherence

Reporting

Weekly operational summary to the Practice Owner
Monthly performance review meeting preparation
Tracking of key performance indicators including new patient starts, collections rate, schedule fill rate, and staff attendance

What We Are Looking For

Required

3+ years of dental, orthodontic, or other healthcare practice management experience with direct supervisory responsibility
Demonstrated HR experience — you have hired, coached, and, when necessary terminated employees directly and independently
Bilingual English/Spanish — fluent, not conversational. You will use this every day with patients and staff
Comfortable managing staff accountability consistently, including difficult conversations without escalating to ownership
Organized, systems-oriented, and proactive — you build processes rather than just react to today's problem
Proficient with Open Dental or comparable dental practice management software
Professional, discreet, and reliable in handling sensitive personnel and patient matters
Industry references from prior dental or orthodontic employers required

Preferred

Experience in orthodontics specifically
Familiarity with Medicaid orthodontic billing and eligibility processes
Experience with CRM or patient communication platforms
Prior treatment coordination experience — candidates who combine genuine management experience with TC capability will be given strong preference
Experience managing staff across more than one location or shift

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: $65,000–$80,000, depending on experience
Monthly performance bonus tied to key performance indicators such as new patient starts, collections rate, and schedule performance
