Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled in accordance with established accounting standards. Your expertise will help support the organization’s financial health, compliance, and reporting needs. Responsibilities

Record and process all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure data accuracy across accounts.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
Prepare journal entries, conduct balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with month-end closing procedures.
Support payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Assist with budgeting, financial report writing, and account analysis to provide clear insights into financial performance.
Maintain detailed records of all financial activities, ensuring adherence to governmental accounting standards when applicable.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping and debits & credits.
Knowledge of GAAP standards for accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Skilled in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, general ledger accounting, and journal entries.
Ability to perform detailed account analysis and balance sheet reconciliation efficiently.
Familiarity with payroll processing, tax experience, and budgeting processes.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks such as 10 key typing and account analysis under tight deadlines.
