Full Job Description

Electrical Engineer – Minimum hourly rate is $40/hr. Higher rates are given depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced licensed Electrical Engineer who will be located at the Alexandria VA hospital in Louisiana. This position is an hourly contract position with a maximum of 40 hours a week. The contract is for one year with two extension option years. The candidate must be a United States Citizen to work on this federal property. We are not able to offer any kind of visa sponsorship, like H1B.

Position Requirements:

To succeed in this impactful role, you must possess the following qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering: Your academic foundation is crucial.

· Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills: Your ability to coordinate and communicate effectively is essential.

3 Years of Valid Residency in the U.S.
Ability to Pass a Federal Background Check.
Valid Driver’s License

· Proactive and Collaborative Team Member: We thrive on teamwork and innovation, and we need you to be an active part of it.

· Construction Oversight Experience

Evaluate Contractor Performance: Your insights will drive excellence in project execution.
Ensure System Sequences of Operations: Verify that air handler units, chillers, and heating systems are operating seamlessly.
Bid Phase Collaboration: Collaborate with contractors during the bid phase to ensure design integrity.
Field Verification: Assess existing systems for renovation projects, providing essential data.
Client Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
