What You’ll Do

Consult with individuals, families, and seniors to understand their insurance needs.
Educate clients and guide them through coverage options using a consultative approach.
Sell a wide portfolio of products, including:
Individual & Family Health Insurance
Medicare Advantage & Medicare Supplement Plans
Supplemental Coverage (Dental, Vision, Accident, Critical Illness)
Life Insurance
Manage inbound live transfer leads + generate your own pipeline through:
Social media marketing
Networking
Outbound calling
Utilize HealthMarkets’ technology platform to quote, compare, and enroll clients.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships to generate residual income.
Develop your book of business with the opportunity to grow into leadership and eventually build, mentor, and manage a team of agents.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

Taking inbound calls from pre-qualified leads
Prospecting and building your own book of business.
Engaging with clients via phone, social, and referrals
Managing your pipeline and follow-ups in the CRM
Participating in ongoing training and development

Compensation

1099 Independent Contractor
One day sales cycle commission paid twice a week
First-year expected earnings: $65,000 – $85,000+

Licensing Requirements

Already licensed? Even better. We are particularly interested in candidates who currently hold an active Life & Health Insurance License and are ready to begin building their business.

Not licensed yet? We still want to hear from you. We are open to strong sales-minded, entrepreneurial candidates who are committed to obtaining their license and completing the necessary training before beginning their career as an agent.

Licensing options may include:

Accelerated licensing options, including programs that may be completed in as little as one day in Springfield, IL.
Traditional online licensing coursework that can typically be completed within approximately one month.

The most important factor is a candidate's willingness to commit to the licensing process and invest in building a long-term career in the industry.
