Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a supportive environment that values your skills and dedication.

Duties

Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Monitor and observe patient conditions, noting changes in health status or behavior
Administer medications and manage care plans in accordance with healthcare regulations and facility policies
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning patient areas to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
Record vital signs, patient observations, and other relevant health information accurately in compliance with HIPAA standards
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents or clients, fostering a caring environment
Follow all safety protocols, including CPR and first aid procedures, to ensure resident safety at all times
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and team members to develop and implement effective care plans

Skills

Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings
Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
Ability to perform patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and assist with ADLs effectively
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information
Experience with resident’s care plans and social work principles is a plus
Competence in caring for individuals with disabilities or complex medical needs requiring heavy lifting or specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts
Excellent communication skills for working with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Compassionate attitude with patience for working with seniors or individuals experiencing cognitive decline or chronic health conditions
Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment

This position is ideal for caring professionals committed to providing respectful, compassionate support that promotes independence and dignity. Candidates should possess relevant experience along with the necessary certifications such as CPR or first aid training.
