Full Job Description

Down Time Services is currently looking to hire a secretary / office assistant. You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success. Attention to detail and a good attitude are a must. You must have a valid driver license.

Job Responsibilities:

answering calls, taking messages and handling mail
Personal assistant duties, running errands
maintaining logs and arranging appointments
typing, preparing and collating reports
filing & organizing
managing data
implementing new procedures and administrative systems
logging or processing bills or expenses
acting as a receptionist

Qualifications / Requirements

Good communication, customer service and relationship-building skills
Clean background / driving record
Teamworking skills
Ability to operate office equipment (fax, copier, mail, etc.)
Organization and time management skills
Attention to detail
Integrity and professionalism
The ability to be proactive and use your initiative
Knowledge of general office procedures
The ability to use computers and computer programs (eg Microsoft Office, QuickBooks)
Check frequently the levels of office supplies and place appropriate orders
Proficient in proofreading, spelling, grammar punctuation and math (10 key)

Preferred Qualifications

Proven work experience as a Secretary or Administrative Assistant
High degree of time management capability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Quickbooks)
High school diploma
