About Chako’s Social
Chako’s Social is a high-volume restaurant + nightlife + sports bar + live event venue in Fullerton. We run weekly signature events (brunch, nightlife, sports watch parties, live entertainment) and we need a social media manager who can own the entire workflow: content creation → posting → paid ads → tracking → revenue.
The Role (What You’ll Own)
You will take social + ads off the owner’s plate and operate like an in-house growth engine. This is not just “posting.” We need someone who can create content fast, run ads cleanly, and report results clearly.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Publishing
- Create weekly content for Instagram/TikTok (Reels, Stories, posts, flyers) using Canva and CapCut (plus native IG/TikTok tools).
- Capture and/or direct on-site content during events (crowd shots, DJs, brunch moments, bottle service, food, signage).
- Maintain brand consistency (fonts, colors, tone, event templates).
- Write captions that convert: hooks, CTAs, hashtags, location tags, and story sequences.
- Plan a weekly content calendar aligned to events, holidays, sports schedules, and ticket drops.
Paid Ads (Meta + TikTok + Google Ads)
- Build, launch, and optimize Meta Ads (IG/FB) for event promotion, RSVPs, and conversions.
- Launch and optimize TikTok Ads (Spark Ads a plus).
- Manage Google Ads (Search + basic retargeting if applicable) focused on high intent traffic (brunch, nightlife, sports bar near me).
- Own targeting, creative testing, budgets, and performance monitoring.
- Retarget past engagers and website visitors where applicable.
Google Business Profile (GBP)
- Manage and improve our Google Business Profile: posts, photos, offers, Q&A, updates.
- Drive review velocity ethically (in-venue QR, post-event requests), respond professionally to reviews.
- Monitor insights (calls, directions, website clicks) and report improvements.
Eventbrite + Promotions
- Create and publish Eventbrite events (titles, descriptions, ticket tiers, imagery).
- Align Eventbrite links with social content and paid ads.
- Ensure event pages look premium and drive RSVP/ticket conversion.
Analytics & Reporting
- Weekly reporting: what we posted, what we ran, what worked, what didn’t, and what we’re changing.
- Track KPIs like: reach, engagement, saves/shares, CTR, CPC, CPA, RSVP volume, ticket sales, and on-site turnout indicators.
Required Skills / Experience
- Proven experience managing social for a nightlife/restaurant/venue brand.
- Strong Canva skills (templates, flyers, brand kits, layout).
- Strong CapCut skills (fast edits, captions, transitions, beat cuts).
- Paid ads experience: Meta Ads Manager (required). TikTok Ads + Google Ads (strongly preferred).
- Comfortable working with a fast-moving events calendar and last-minute changes.
- Strong eye for content (framing, lighting, pacing, trends) and ability to create “scroll-stopping” posts.
Bonus Points
- Experience with UGC creators/influencers, nightlife promoters, or street team workflows.
- Experience with tracking pixels/analytics (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, GA4).
- Photo/video capture skills (iPhone shooting, basic color correction, audio cleanup).
- Experience driving RSVPs/ticket sales for events.
What Success Looks Like (First 30–60 Days)
- A repeatable weekly content system that runs without the owner.
- Consistent posting cadence and story coverage during events.
- Paid ads running with clear testing structure and measurable results.
- Improved GBP activity and review flow.
- Eventbrite pages that look pro and convert.
Schedule Expectations
- Weekly planning + posting + reporting.
- On-site presence for key events (typically weekends and/or major nights) for content capture.

- Links to social accounts you’ve managed (or a portfolio).
