Full Job Description

We are recruiting for an Entry-Level Supply Chain Planner to join a leading battery manufacturing company's supply chain operations. This role supports demand forecasting, inventory planning, and the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process.

Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. Related work experience is preferred but not required.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with a degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field who wants to build a career in supply chain planning.

Responsibilities

Analyze sales forecasts, customer demand, historical sales, inventory, and supply data.
Maintain and update demand forecasts.
Assist with forecast accuracy analysis and investigate significant variances.
Compare customer demand with inventory levels, production capacity, and material availability.
Identify potential shortages, excess inventory, capacity constraints, and delivery risks.
Monitor inventory levels, backorders, slow-moving inventory, and obsolete stock.
Prepare reports and data for monthly S&OP meetings.
Coordinate with Sales, Production, Procurement, Logistics, Operations, and Finance.
Follow up on planning decisions and action items with appropriate teams.
Assist with production, purchasing, inventory, and order-priority recommendations.
Maintain accurate planning and order data within SAP or other ERP systems.
Support improvements to forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain planning processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
Internship, academic project, or prior work experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, planning, or data analysis is preferred but not required.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis is highly desirable.
SAP or other ERP experience is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and manage recurring deadlines.
Mandarin language skills are a plus.
