Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to elevate our online presence and drive organic growth. We already have it established and need someone to help maintain and improve it. In this role, you will develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve website visibility across major search engines. Your expertise will help optimize content, enhance site architecture, and build authoritative backlinks, ensuring our digital footprint reaches the right audiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence our digital marketing success and work with cutting-edge SEO tools and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-impact search terms aligned with business goals.
Optimize website content, metadata, and HTML elements to improve search engine rankings and user engagement.
Implement technical SEO best practices, including site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, schema markup, and URL structure enhancements.
Manage and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to track key metrics and identify opportunities.
Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase domain authority through outreach and content partnerships.
Collaborate with content creators and web developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content management systems like WordPress.
Monitor search engine algorithm updates and adjust strategies proactively to maintain or improve rankings.
Support conversion optimization efforts by analyzing user behavior data and refining landing pages for better engagement.

Experience

Proven experience in SEO, SEM (Search Engine Marketing), or digital marketing roles with a focus on organic search growth.
Strong understanding of search engines’ ranking factors including metadata, keywords, backlinks, and site structure.
Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs or Moz.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with content management systems like WordPress.
Knowledge of web analytics techniques for tracking user behavior and measuring campaign effectiveness.
Experience with technical SEO audits, website migrations, or e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.
