Family Medicine Physician

Join Our Team as a Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Family Medicine Physician to join our growing primary care practice. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients of all ages. Our practice emphasizes continuity of care, preventive medicine, and building lasting relationships with patients and their families.

Position Summary

The Family Medicine Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, health maintenance, and patient education. The physician works collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to ensure exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with clinical quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
Perform annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and routine physical examinations.
Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate ongoing patient care.
Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results.
Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
Perform office-based procedures appropriate to family medicine.
Educate patients and families regarding disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Collaborate with specialists and coordinate referrals when appropriate.
Document patient encounters accurately and timely within the electronic medical record
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and value-based care programs.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
Support team-based care by collaborating with medical assistants, nurses, care coordinators, and administrative staff.
Participate in provider meetings and continuing medical education activities.

Qualifications

Required

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
Current unrestricted state medical license (or eligible for licensure).
DEA registration and controlled substance license as required.
Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Preferred

Experience in outpatient family medicine.
Experience managing patients across all age groups.
Knowledge of quality metrics and value-based care programs.
