Full Job Description

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of tools and equipment, including logic controllers, stamping press, tooling, lathe, warehouse operations, welding, milling machines, programming, assembly, and SolidWorks.

1. Reviews schedule with Scheduler / Planner and Lead Setup Technician.

2. Responsible for proper set-up of tooling as per prescribed practices and work instruction.

3. Responsible for inspection of all tooling pre- and post-production to ensure tooling in satisfactory condition.

4. Responsible for completing Visual Quality PDC checklist during inspection of all tooling.

5. Follows all safety rules and ensures proper safety practices are being used.

6. Responsible for storage of tooling in a manner which protects tooling from damage

7. Responsible for maintaining accurate tooling storage procedures

8. Documents process for new tools and documents changes in existing processes.

9. Enters NCM information for tooling repairs

10. Housekeeping: Keep area clean, floor swept, auxiliary equipment stored in proper areas.

11. Initiates corrective action, when necessary, through Managing Up when applicable.

12. Requires the ability to bend, lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.

13. Must be able to safely operate a fork truck

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment such as stamping presses, lathes, milling machines, and logic controllers.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair tasks on machinery to ensure smooth operations.
- Assemble components using various tools and techniques.
- Utilize SolidWorks for design and modeling purposes.
- Program machinery for specific tasks.
- Maintain inventory of tools and parts in the warehouse.

Requirements:
- Proven experience working with logic controllers, stamping presses, tooling, lathes, welding equipment, milling machines, and SolidWorks software.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues with machinery.
- Proficiency in programming machinery for automated processes.
- Excellent attention to detail during assembly processes.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a warehouse setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
