Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our dedicated imaging team. In this vital role, you will operate advanced radiologic imaging equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images of patients’ bodies, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Your expertise in radiation safety procedures, patient care, and various imaging modalities will ensure a safe, efficient, and compassionate environment for both patients and staff. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting where your skills directly impact patient outcomes and clinical success.

Responsibilities

Operate CT scanners and related radiologic imaging equipment to perform diagnostic scans with precision and care.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam.
Implement radiation safety protocols diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure.
Assist with a variety of advanced imaging procedures including PET scans, mammography, DEXA scans, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, and emergency room imaging.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to facilitate diagnostic evaluations across multiple specialties such as urgent care, emergency medicine, trauma centers (Level I & II), and specialized radiology services.
Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, ensuring accuracy in patient records and compliance with regulatory standards.
Monitor equipment performance regularly; troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal image quality.

Requirements

Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment such as CT scanners, X-ray machines, fluoroscopy units, and nuclear medicine devices.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles.
Demonstrated proficiency in implementing radiation safety procedures and aseptic techniques during invasive procedures.
Prior experience working in urgent care settings or Level I & II trauma centers is highly desirable.
Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent), with additional credentials in sonography or mammography preferred.
Familiarity with interventional radiography techniques including PET scans and interventional radiology procedures.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments such as emergency rooms or trauma centers while maintaining high standards of patient care.
