CNC Machinist / CNC Set‑Up Operator — Alpharetta, GA (Paid Relocation Available)

Position Overview

EPS is hiring for two machining roles within our high‑volume precision manufacturing environment:

1. CNC Machinist – 1st Shift (Programming Required)

Candidates with CNC programming experience (10–15% programming) are eligible for our 1st shift opening.

2. CNC Set‑Up Operator – 2nd Shift (No Programming Required)

We are actively hiring CNC Set‑Up Operators for 2nd shift only.
This role focuses on CNC setup, operation, tooling, offsets, and quality checks.

Both roles include setup and operation of CNC machines and cam‑driven (non‑CNC) equipment.

Key Responsibilities

CNC machine setup & operation
Basic CNC programming (1st shift role only)
Tooling & equipment management
Quality checks & inspections
Maintain safe operations following all safety procedures
Produce high‑quality parts that meet EPS standards

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience in a production environment
Familiarity with Fanuc controls
Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology (required for 1st shift role)
Mechanical skills for feeding systems (vibratory bowls, rails, etc.)
Ability to set up and operate cam‑driven (non‑CNC) equipment
Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and precision measurement tools
Strong attention to detail
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Highly proactive and self‑driven

Preferred Experience

Miyano, Towa, Brown & Sharpe, Acme Gridley, Takamaz, or Takisawa
Fast‑paced, high‑production metal fastener manufacturing environment

Work Schedule

1st Shift (Programming Required):
Mon–Fri, 7am–5pm

2nd Shift (CNC Set‑Up Operator):
Mon–Thur, 4pm–2am
Fri, 2pm–12am

Schedule: 10‑hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 1/2

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $27.00–$33.00 per hour
Salary flexible based on experience
