JOB DESCRIPTION: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team with full-time positions available. Flexible schedules include 9:00 AM–3:00 PM making this an excellent opportunity for students currently enrolled in an ABA graduate program who are looking to gain hands-on experience in the field.

DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN RBT AT ABA FAMILY THERAPY:

As an RBT in our clinic, your day will be filled with engaging activities designed to promote growth and development in a fun, dynamic environment. Your day starts with centers, where you’ll guide clients through hands-on activities tailored to their individual needs followed by an interactive circle time that includes singing/dancing. Afterward, you’ll take clients on a refreshing walk, followed by a group activity—either indoors or outdoors—designed to reinforce learning through play. Throughout the day you’ll support clients as you help them develop important life skills by rotating through different rooms each hour to incorporate communication, social, and functional living skills. The day wraps up with a cozy group story time, leaving both clients and staff feeling accomplished and connected. The owners of ABA Family Therapy are both BCBA’s actively involved in the clinic every day, managing their own caseloads and always available to support and guide our staff. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree

- CPR Certification

- Must have RBT Credential through the BACB

- Experience with children in the school and home settings (minimum 1 year)

- Provide high quality therapy to clients

- Excellent skills in the following areas: time management, written/verbal communication, dedication to providing a positive work environment, and collaboration with a team

- Must have reliable transportation

- Applicants with an OCPS Badge are encouraged to apply, though it is not required.

JOB DUTIES:

ABA Family Therapy is currently seeking experienced RBT's to join our team. As an RBT, you will have the following job duties: Implement treatments plans and interventions established by the behavior analyst; provide behavior interventions with children and adolescents using a variety of applied behavior analysis techniques in the home, community, and/or school; monitor, record and document observations of the client's behavior; maintain and manage clean and safe environment for clients; ongoing and consistent monitoring of clients progress; open communication with the family and BCBA about the client.
